Delete your ScribeFlow account
You can request deletion of your ScribeFlow account and associated backend content at any time.
1. In-app deletion
If you still have access to the app, use the in-app Delete Account flow in ScribeFlow. The app asks you to confirm the request before continuing.
2. Reauthentication requirement
For security reasons, Firebase Authentication or your sign-in provider may require a recent sign-in before the account can be deleted. If that happens, sign in again with the same account and retry the in-app deletion flow. Deletion does not begin until that reauthentication step succeeds.
3. Web or email deletion request
If you cannot access the app, contact [email protected] and include the email address or sign-in method associated with your account so we can identify the correct account.
4. What deletion covers
- Account records stored in the SedoApps backend
- Transcript history, uploaded media references, transcript outputs, and related jobs associated with that account
- Associated app-facing account data scheduled for deletion as part of the request
5. Expected timeline
In-app deletion requests are intended to begin immediately after deletion succeeds. Manual email-based requests may require a reasonable verification and processing period before completion.
6. Limited retention for security and compliance
Some limited records may still be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, dispute handling, or legal compliance. This may include minimal entitlement or anti-abuse records needed to protect the service and enforce prior usage limits, even after user content and account-facing data are deleted.
